Northwork

Website + search management for Fort Collins businesses

Fort Collins is the largest market Northwork covers and the most contested. The companies ranking here have separate pages for every service and every town they cover, and they have had them for years.

Northwork manages the website and search side as one system. Every client gets a full website rebuild, included, with no separate build fee. You own the foundation, Northwork keeps managing it, and I do not work with a direct competitor in the same protected market.

Northwork works from Laramie, about an hour north, and takes Fort Collins work from there. The distance does not change the job. The site, the Google Business Profile, the listings, and the tracking are the same work in any market. What a market this size changes is how much of it everyone else has already done.

So the foundation here is the price of entry rather than the edge. It still has to be right.

Search management

Google Business Profile, on-page work, listings, technical cleanup, tracking, and monthly search work handled continuously instead of piecemeal. A written report every month shows what changed.

A website you actually own

Every Northwork client gets a full website rebuild and migration onto the Northwork stack. No separate build fee. The domain and the Google accounts are in your name from day one, and the site and its code transfer to you whenever you want them, or when we stop working together, at no cost.

No competing accounts

Northwork does not work for two direct competitors in the same market. If I take your company on, I do not take the account across town fighting for the same customer.

If Northwork represents your company in a protected Fort Collins category, I will not sell substantially similar website and search management to the direct competitor across town.

The record

What this looks like in practice

“Making my old website look professional was difficult. Creating the content and layout was time-consuming. I decided to hire John to create a new website and help with SEO because he came highly recommended. My new website runs smoothly and is very professional looking. I no longer have to waste time with template based software.”

Vicki McGowan, Cents of Wyoming Bookkeeping, Laramie

“John is fantastic to work with! He is quick, knowledgeable and creative. He easily thinks outside the box and is always coming up with ways to help us stay on top. He is a very valuable asset! Worth having him look things over!”

Carson Shoop, Elevate Real Estate, Laramie

What was actually found and fixed, line by line, is on the homepage, and the bookkeeping audit has a page of its own.

The Fort Collins market

The hardest market on this list

Fort Collins is the largest market Northwork serves and the hardest one to win. About 170,000 people in the city, 363,000 across Larimer County, and growth has slowed. Net migration into the metro is running roughly 26% below pre-pandemic levels, which means the customers are already here rather than arriving.

The companies at the top of search here have done the work. They have separate pages for each service, separate pages for each town they cover, online booking, and content written about Fort Collins specifically rather than about plumbing in general. Even the national franchises write about Fort Collins water and what it does to pipes.

Coming into this market means outworking businesses that already know what they are doing. That is possible. It is not fast.

If your business is stronger than the version people find online, I'll take a look.

Send me the website. I'll review the site, search presence, and competitive market and tell you what I think is worth fixing. No charge and no obligation.
