Northwork

Website + search management for Casper businesses

Casper is central Wyoming's hub, and most of what ranks for Casper service searches is published by companies that have never been there.

Northwork manages the website and search side as one system. Every client gets a full website rebuild, included, with no separate build fee. You own the foundation, Northwork keeps managing it, and I do not work with a direct competitor in the same protected market.

Northwork covers Casper from Laramie, about two and a half hours south. The population here is flat, which changes what the work is for. There is no wave of arrivals to catch, so the gain comes from taking share off the business across town. The out-of-state agencies filling the results are not doing anything a local business cannot do better.

A flat market rewards the company that does the work. It does not reward waiting.

Search management

Google Business Profile, on-page work, listings, technical cleanup, tracking, and monthly search work handled continuously instead of piecemeal. A written report every month shows what changed.

A website you actually own

Every Northwork client gets a full website rebuild and migration onto the Northwork stack. No separate build fee. The domain and the Google accounts are in your name from day one, and the site and its code transfer to you whenever you want them, or when we stop working together, at no cost.

No competing accounts

Northwork does not work for two direct competitors in the same market. If I take your company on, I do not take the account across town fighting for the same customer.

If Northwork represents your company in a protected Casper category, I will not sell substantially similar website and search management to the direct competitor across town.

The record

What this looks like in practice

“Making my old website look professional was difficult. Creating the content and layout was time-consuming. I decided to hire John to create a new website and help with SEO because he came highly recommended. My new website runs smoothly and is very professional looking. I no longer have to waste time with template based software.”

Vicki McGowan, Cents of Wyoming Bookkeeping, Laramie

“John is fantastic to work with! He is quick, knowledgeable and creative. He easily thinks outside the box and is always coming up with ways to help us stay on top. He is a very valuable asset! Worth having him look things over!”

Carson Shoop, Elevate Real Estate, Laramie

What was actually found and fixed, line by line, is on the homepage, and the bookkeeping audit has a page of its own.

The Casper market

Most of what ranks is not from here

Casper is central Wyoming's hub, about 59,000 people and roughly 80,000 across Natrona County. The population is flat, which changes what search work is for. In a growing market you capture arrivals. Here you take share from the business across town.

The search results are the unusual part. A large share of what ranks for Casper service searches belongs to agencies in Pennsylvania, New York, and elsewhere, publishing the same city page they publish for two hundred other towns, with the town name swapped. One of them sells the promise of a real point of contact who knows your Casper business rather than a ticket queue, from an office two thousand miles away.

Meanwhile the actual Casper businesses are running two-page websites, booking pages that report nothing available to book, and in more than one case a homepage title still carrying the hosting company's default text.

Very little of what ranks is local. That is the opportunity and it is also the warning: a flat market rewards taking share, not waiting for growth.

If your business is stronger than the version people find online, I'll take a look.

Send me the website. I'll review the site, search presence, and competitive market and tell you what I think is worth fixing. No charge and no obligation.
