Vicki McGowan came to Northwork on a referral. She had built her own site on a rented platform and had been paying for search help. The site was live, the Google listing existed, and none of the work underneath either of them had been done.
What the audit found
What the numbers said
Six months of her Google profile history showed fewer than 50 searches surfaced her business at all, and most of those were people typing her name or her street address. People who already knew her. When someone did find her, they acted. The problem was never whether people call. It was that almost nobody who didn't already know her name ever saw her.
What she has now
A site she owns outright, hand-coded, with the domain and the Google accounts in her name. Search Console verified and submitted. Analytics installed and collecting. Nine services written and published on a Google profile that listed none. Her business name standardized across every directory that had it wrong. None of this is exotic. It is the work that should have been done before anything else.
“Making my old website look professional was difficult. Creating the content and layout was time-consuming. I decided to hire John to create a new website and help with SEO because he came highly recommended. My new website runs smoothly and is very professional looking. I no longer have to waste time with template based software.”
